Don't Forget to Daydream/Ebb is the title track off Jeykll & Jeykll''s debut. The song has three distinct movements and was inspired in part by two different Ted Talks on the value of daydreaming and Einstein's thought experiments such as mentally chasing beams of light (photoelectric effect). This song is both an invocation of that spirit of imagination/creativity and an invitation to a stellar daydream; a kind of auditory blanket that is designed to affect a conducive environment in which to do that and also acts as a sensory shield at the same time; designed for taking a moment, or 6 minutes, out from the barrage of stimuli we're subjected to and just listening, thinking and imagining. Meditative, transportive, disarmingly provocative.

Regarding the three movements In the track, initially there is the bright-eyed and bushy-tailed spark of its existence; then a greater sense of wonder, of things growing organically and a continual development from these tangible roots which comes to a something of a resolution/acceptance. Finally there is the outermost exploration (Ebb) which touches the void, the unknown, muses on the ethereal, the extra-dimensional and stretches out towards whatever your conceivable dimensional and temporal boundaries are.

Apart from functioning (hopefully) as an injection of something akin to an altered-consciousness, a meditative space and a catalyst for thoughts less usual, we feel this track will lend itself very well to a sympathetically (or appropriately juxtaposed) themed film production or visual arts production and we are very open to a collaboration of this sort with this tune.
